All-In
About this software
AllIn is a set of tools for teaching: live quizzes, polls, word clouds, buzzers and more, run from a lecturer's page with students joining on their own phones, plus shared course libraries and catalogues of tools and downloads.

Use at Edinburgh College
AllIn was built for teaching at Edinburgh College and is used there under licence from the author. The licence is a perpetual, unlimited-seat, free licence to the College; it does not transfer ownership, and the College's use of the software does not make it a work commissioned by or belonging to the College.
The licence is to use AllIn, not to own it or to change it. AllIn may not be modified, adapted or built upon; it may not be sold, sub-licensed, rented or charged for by anyone; and it may not be passed on or published outside the organisation it was licensed to. Those terms apply to everyone, the College included. Anything beyond them needs the author's written permission, which can be asked for at the address above.
Standards this service is audited against
AllIn is reviewed against published standards by independent audit, and each round is fixed before the next begins. The most recent round was on 7 September 2026, and every finding in it was fixed and then checked by a separate verification pass.
- OWASP Top 10:2025 — application security. No unauthenticated route exposed data, and no injection path was found.
- Cyber Essentials Plus controls, as they apply to the application: secure configuration, user access control, and security update management.
- WCAG 2.2 AA — accessibility. Checked criterion by criterion across the phone, the lecturer's page, the projector and the administration page, with an automatic colour-contrast gate on every build.
- ISO 9241-110:2020 and ISO 9241-11:2018 — interaction principles and usability.
- ISO/IEC 25010:2023 — product quality, including reliability, performance and maintainability.
Audited against, not certified. These were internal audits, carried out independently of the person who wrote the code but not by an accredited body. Certification is a separate process, and nothing here claims it. The findings, what was done about them, and what remains open are recorded and can be shown on request.
